The U.S. Marine Corps needed an effective method to manage equipment assets dispersed worldwide. MDA Technologies implemented an asset management tool through web technology. The tool provided a comprehensive understanding of equipment availability as well as a reliable method of tracking failed equipment through the maintenance cycle. Not only did this asset management tool provide a single-source view of system status through a secure web portal, it also saved countless phone calls, removed ambiguity and provided an audit trail of activities to allow the client to continually monitor performance.

When the U.S. Marine Corps was experiencing readiness issues with a mission critical system, they asked MDA Technologies to design a support concept that would increase operational readiness and enhance support to system users. MDA Technologies implemented a solution that improved readiness from below 70% to over 97% within the first three months. This level has been sustained since inception.
